The best lessons are the ones you never taught me.

My mother instilled in me a passion for books and reading; The feel of a sturdy hardcover in my hands and attaching to it’s characters so strongly that I dread the last page! No matter the reason or the season, like her, settling into a good read is an escape that calms my mind.

I wasn’t raised around risk takers. Success was measured by degrees, titles and pay scales. Though I experienced success in my corporate career, I never found that joy and fulfillment I longed for, until I decided to share my stories and experiences with you! Success and failure are lessons best shared, as this is where the best stories are born!
